Label Wizard (Bay Labels) "Skip Empty Labels" not working correctly

edited December 2024 in Bug Report

Issue Description:

  1. Using the Label Wizard via File > Print Labels:
    • The "Skip Empty Labels" checkbox is disabled by default, and the feature does not work.
    • Changing the checkbox status (on or off) has no effect.
  2. Using the Label Wizard via Right-Click on the PDU > Print PD/Dimmer Bay Labels for Cable Type: Han 16:
    • The "Skip Empty Labels" checkbox is enabled by default, and the feature works as intended.
    • Changing the checkbox status (on or off) also has no effect.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Method 1:
    1. Navigate to File > Print Labels.
    2. Observe that the "Skip Empty Labels" checkbox is disabled.
    3. Attempt to toggle the checkbox and verify the feature's behavior.
  • Method 2:
    1. Right-click on the PDU.
    2. Select Print PD/Dimmer Bay Labels for Cable Type: Han 16.
    3. Observe that the "Skip Empty Labels" checkbox is enabled by default.
    4. Attempt to toggle the checkbox and verify the feature's behavior.

Expected Behavior:

The "Skip Empty Labels" function should work consistently, regardless of the method used to access the Label Wizard or the initial state of the checkbox.

Observed Behavior:

The behavior of the "Skip Empty Labels" checkbox is inconsistent between the two methods.
