if i export a show to a VW Lighting Device Data File i get for all Fixtures that have Stand Alone for Power checked zeros for Circuit Name and Number.

Is it posible the get the option to tell PP something like: for all stand alone Fixtures change all Circuit Names to "direct" and leave Circuit Numbers blank.

When exporting either as a CSV or XLSX, could you please add some extra columns of data.

1. Primary Colour
2. Primary Colour Label
3. Secondary Colour
4. Secondary Colour Label 

I make my fixture labels with an external file maker and it would be so helpful if I could get this data out of patch printer.

I cannot access any of my files currently,

Whenever I open or load a new file it just closes, after reinstalling multiple times and trying to clear as much off my pc as possible now it wont open at all

Could you add a drop down menu in the properties bar on the right for Sorting the Fixture Info sheet that is opened when you double click Fixtures on the left by different values, like Spot, Location, Type, XYZ

Another thing on the side would be cool to customize that Fixture Info sheet a bit more, sort of like the same system that you can customize a PD or Bay Labels

For our Cable we use socapex with True1Con breakouts to go to fixtures and then if we come across a powercon fixture we just use a TrueCon to PowerCon adapter.

I was wondering if you could add a way to define a text string in the Cable section per cable per chanel

So for E.G in Patch Printer

Cable List

Cable A Type is Socapex

Channel 1 - Truecon

Channel 2 - Truecon

Channel 3 - Powercon

etc etc

And then even like a "Breakout Type" Option with the Type and Location header

We are using and AVOLITE ART 2020 and the first bay has 4 Parallel Outlets on the physical PD.

I restarted PatchPrinter and they showed up (yay)

However, I’ve now noticed that the location colours do not appear on the ‘Multi List sheet’

Could this also be applied to the fixtures that are imported using the import patch csv window?

I thought of a extra element type in the label.

My guys who are addressing fixtures are sometimes addressing the wrong fixture since the address and fixture number are so far away, or even add some alternating grey and white lines.

also if its possible to rearrange the columns, so you can have fixture ID first then Mode second for e.g.

Is there a way to manage duplicate fixtures?

I have some circumstances where we have 2 strobes both with the same fixture ID and same address.

They show up in the fixture tab as duplicates, but in sheets, the duplicates are ignored (which would normally make sense).

Is there a way I could manage this, so the team in prep know to prep multiple fixtures.

I have now done over 45 shows using patch printer, and I fucking love it.

I’ve done paperwork for world tours, and some of the biggest shows in Australia, and have convinced lots of people to use it.

Would it be possible to add a feature to turn on auto save?? Maybe have a few options for intervals, like 5 minutes or 30 minutes etc

In New Zealand and Australia we don't use Schuko , we have a slightly different connector which we call flatpin for our 10a cables

Could it be possible to import Dimmer/Distro patching information instead of allocating this data within PatchPrinter?

I work with Lightwright for managing the patch/power loading etc. But LW has no facility for printing dimmer/distro labels (unless you print 1 channel at a time!).  

It would be great if I could export this data from LW or the VWX file, import into PatchPrinter and print labels straight away. Any thoughts on this workflow?

I'm doing at the moment some documents for a Swiss concert-hall.

There i have a lot of build-in PD's which haven't an input socket but still a feed from a major PD.

Is there a possibility to add the Word ,,Direct'' instead of a connector-type?

And can you add the CEE 200 Plug incl. CEE 200 to Powerlock Conversion

And i can Add Power to empty CEE Cables to simulate Kitchen-power etc. But there isn't a possibility to short label those Phases.

And when you also can add some Swiss connectors like T13, T23, T15, T25 i would really appreciate it.

Hey there, as in this picture above, for my Looms view I want to have my dmx lines labelled by universe->fixture type, this isnt really native in the software and I've used the 'split' function as a work around, it would be nice to have this more native,

another thing that would make this software very powerful is split views - so you can view your Cables on one side and Looms on the other, or PD's on the left and Fixtures on the right etc

Having to change views all the time can be annoying, and then being able to 'print' these more custom views would be huge, sometimes I want to have my Looms and Cables on the same page, or 2 different PDs on the same page.

When i have patched a multicable to my PDU and can see all the channels in pdu list. Can it be possible to drag and drop my fixtures to the channels in this view?

Can we add ethercon par cables? like par4 and par8?

Can we have a solution for making group in the fixture tab. And maybe also for cables?

Should there be an option to have the ability to choose the power connector of the fixture? I would like to manage all my power connection in patchprinter and this would give me the opportunity to document devices for catering, guest bands etc.

For now it would be a fix maybe to make this devices as PD/dimmers?

Currently, if you have multiple fixture types on one PD Channel, they are combined with a "+". So, if you have 3 different types on one channel, the text becomes very small: "1* Pointe + 1* Strike 1 + 1* 150".

Could an option be created to list them separately:

"1* Pointe

1* Strike 1

1* 150"

& Could an option be created to replace "*" with "x"? (A text column where you can fill this in yourself if possible :)

Would it be an option get an extra field in properties of the cables?

That would be easy to put the length of the cable in so the guys now on the field how much cable is reserved for that run.
